ANC staffers are set to lay charges against the party’s top six leadership following months of unpaid salaries.

Africa News Global has reliably learned that the workers will be at the Johannesburg Central Police Station.

“Some aggrieved ANC employees, who have lost their patience with the continuing non-payment of salaries, and general abuse of ANC staff due to the criminal conduct by the senior management of the ANC, will Today, Thursday the 9th of September 2021, formally lay criminal charges of theft, fraud, corruption, and various statutory crimes, against the National Office Bearers (NOB’s) of the ANC,” Carl Niehaus.

He said once the charges have been laid, the employees involved will make their complaint statement available to the media and address it.

ANC staffers have not been paid since July, and the party informed them they would also not be paid in August as the organization was experiencing financial problems.

They have been holding regular pickets outside Luthuli House to express their anger and dissatisfaction with the situation.
